Project Overview:

The ST-4H well is located in the north of the Taklamakan Desert. It is a high-temperature production well. The geological structure of this well is more complicated. The Santamu area is characterized into a typical drape anticline geological belt by several tectonic movements. The purpose of this drilling project is to confirm the structure of ST4-2 block, the distribution pattern of the interlayers and oil and gas. Our company's high temperature MWD instrument overcomes the high temperature, high pressure and high risk and achieved zero fault of all wells. It was great approved at this block.

Difficulty in construction:

1, Jurassic strata is easy to collapse. It is necessary to make full preparation of anti-collapse construction technology before construction.

2, Coalbed methane may be encountered during construction. So, the well control requirements are high.

3, The well is high temperature well. The temperature can reach 158 ℃ during construction. It greatly challenges the temperature tolerance of the instruments.
