The first factory drilling platform in the Chad project is completed
China Petroleum Network News (Special correspondent Ding Lei correspondent Wang Xixiong)：At 21:50 GMT on February 14th, the surface cementing safety of the Daniela1-16 well ended with the wake of the loudspeaker of the Great Wall Drilling and Cementing Company Chad project engineer, Deng Chunlai. At this moment, the company’s safe and efficient and independent construction completed all surface cementing construction of the first Chad drilling platform Daniela1-14 platform 7 well platforms.
The Daniela1-14 platform is the first drilling platform in Chad to be factory-operated. The platform is drilled and then surface cementing is finished by installing and rigs on the rails at the well site. The implementation of the drilling includes two platforms, constructed by the Great Wall drilling GW58 team and GW59 team.
Due to the short construction period, and two drilling platforms at the same time, Industrial drilling platform shall do a cementing every other day. And also, the Daniela1-14 platform operating site is 100 km far from the base, so there has more difficulty to the cementing team for production organization.
In order not to affect the planed operation, the company has overc0me many difficulties, such as technician shortage at site, vehicle shortages, construction distance and so on. They actively coordinated with the site team, moving team for vehicles. During moving operation, the technicians implemented strictly as per the lifting operation procedures, and accomplished moving and installing the cement vertical ash cans, water tanks, pressure fans, tools, containers and other facilities in place within only 12 hours. All the technicians, engineers and operators all eat and sleep at well site.
For the purpose of ensuring the construction carry on timely and smoothly, all staff of Dingsheng Jinggong takes many measures to provide the best service for the customers by actively communicating with drilling team, timely grasping the drilling platform schedule and deciding cementing plan according to actual production in advance. We transported the cement admixture required for cementing in advance on the basis of increasing the storage capacity of the site cement.
We reasonable arranged production, and did not delay the construction at site. At the same time, we mixed cement at base and timely maintained equipment using the spare time after site construction for the smooth construction. From February 3 to 15, Dingsheng Jinggong completed the Daniela1-14 platform and the Daniela1-22 platform surface for 10 times within 13 days. All stuff refined their work and realized all wells surface qualified cements. The cement back onto ground within 1 cubic meter which earned precious time for oil drilling. The construction quality of the cementing ground is excellent, and it is the highest record of the unit's single-week workload and output value. It has won the praise of the customer and accumulated valuable experience for the cementing work for the drilling platform in Chad.
